Very quiet day the Greenish Warbler and Icterine Warbler were both reported as brief views early on but no further sign. A Black Tern was seen on the sea watch. Only 3 birds caught, all juvenile, including Sedge Warbler, Common Whitethroat and a Blue Tit!
139 moths of 42 species were caught this morning including a gorgeous Frosted Orange, one Poplar Hawk moth and most numerous were Flounced Rustic with 40 recorded.
