REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

A rather grey and bleak day, with even the hardy dragonflies choosing to shelter in the moth trap! Very little of note bird wise with only a hand full of migrants, these included small numbers of Song thrushes and Goldcrest in the pines, with six House Martins, two Redpolls and a Grey wagtail noted flying over. A Stonechat was again around the edge of the Broadwater.
