Interest was once again focused on the sea today, the foul weather producing plenty of interest. Wildfowl counts included 7 Brent Geese, 16 Shelducks, 492 Wigeon, 172 Teal, 55 Pintail, 1 Scaup, 5 Eider, 262 Common Scoters, 66 Goldeneye, 20 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Goosander and 2 Red-throated Divers. Other highlights included 317 Kittiwakes, 5 Fulmars, 120 Gannets, 7 Pomarine Skuas, 3 Arctic Skuas, 182 Great Skuas and 5 Little Auks.
