ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE
REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.
Sunday 24th January 2016
On the sea today 2 Long-tailed Ducks, 800+ Common Scoters, 4 Red-throated Divers, 12 Red-breasted Mergansers and 6 Great Crested Grebes were seen, with at least 3 Barn Owls hunting the marshes. A Cetti's Warbler and 5 Stonechats were also of note.
