At Gore Point the Great Knot was present early morning with 1,500 Red Knot, a Peregrine was also noted causing havoc and removing a Knot for breakfast. Birds at the Obs were thin on the ground but a Grasshopper Warbler reeling near the entrance gate and 3-4 juvenile Chiffhcaff and a single Willow Warbler was in the pines. 3 Little Egrets, a Spoonbill, and 2 Red Kites were also seen. At sea 100+ Sandwich Terns, 450 Common Scoters, 4 Gannets, 2 pale sub-adult Arctic Skuas were recorded.
In the moth traps Pine and Privet Hawks, Shoulder-striped and Shore Wainscots, and a single Silver Y were of interest and a Painted Lady flew through.
