Wednesday 13th July 2016

Very much a mixed bag weather wise today, with sunshine in the morning and heavy rain in the afternoon. Noteworthy birds included a fly through Greenshank, two Whimbrel and a Hobby. The moth trap proved particularly productive with over 60 species caught, which included a Miller, Beautiful Hook-tip, Swallow-tailed Moth and Small Emerald.
