Another day of strong south-westerlies, however some birds were getting through, with a marked arrival of Pink-feet totalling over 350 by the middle of the afternoon. Seawatching produced 32 Brent Geese, 50 Common Scoters, 1 Red-throated Diver, 1 Fulmar, 39 Gannets, and 2 Sandwich Terns. Along Thornham Bank a total of 8 Whinchats were counted, with 2 Stonechats and a Wheatear also present. A Kingfisher was around the Broadwater and at least 30 Swallows were still present. A white Starling was also seen again on the grazing marsh.
Small Copper and Comma butterflies were noted, with many Common Darters and Migrant Hawkers in the pines.
