Once again a breezy day, though seemingly with a few more birds around. The best birds on the reserve were a Whinchat and Stonechat along the East bank, with at least one more Stonechat on the NWT reserve. A Peregrine was over the grazing Marsh and a Lapland bunting flew over west mid morning. A Hobby was seen on the NWT reserve and an Osprey was seen to fly South east over Thornham Harbour. The moth catch was again low, a reflection on both weather conditions and the time of year, with the best moth a Feathered Ranunculus.
