A beautiful sunny day with a strong westerly breeze, highlights were an immature Whooper Swan over west, 45 Common Scoters, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers, and 5 Red-throated Divers offshore, Barn Owl and Peregrine hunting, at least 15 Twite with Linnets around the saltmarsh at Thornham, and 2 Stonechats along the sea wall to the east.
