A good day with a visible arrival of thrushes. Highlights included a Long-tailed Duck, 580 Common Scoters, 3 Goldeneye, 3 Gannets, 3 Great Crested Grebes, a Great Skua, 1 Little Auk and an Arctic Tern on the seawatch, while a Cetti's Warbler, a Lesser Whitethroat, 250 Blackbirds, 60 Fieldfares, 120 Redwings, 6 Rock Pipits, 2 Bramblings and 2 Siskins were recorded. A flock of 55 Waxwings were in the area near the paddock at Redwell Marsh.
