A windy and wet day allowed for only limited coverage; a Short-eared Owl was seen along the entrance track in the morning with Barn and Tawny Owls also noted in the afternoon. Six Song Thrushes were in the buckthorn late afternoon, a Siskin was heard in the car park and a Red-breasted Merganser was noted passing west offshore.
