Once again attention turned to the sea, with an all day sea watch producing counts of 186 Gannets, 105 Kittiwakes, 75 Great and 33 Pomarine Skuas, 16 Red-throated Diver, 11 Goldeneye, 5 Little Auks, 5 Sandwich Terns, 3 Long-tailed Ducks, and single Goosander, Velvet Scoter and Arctic Tern.
Other birds of note included two Snow Buntings on the beach, a Peregrine and a flock of 15 Waxwings at nearby Redwell Marsh.
