ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE
REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

On the sea today 2 Scaup, 1 Eider, 5 Long-tailed Ducks, 80 Common Scoters, 3 Velvet Scoters, a Goldeneye, 25 Red-breasted Mergansers, 10 Red-throated Divers, 1 black-throated Diver, 3 Great Northern Divers, a Fulmar, a Shag, 10 Great Crested Grebes, and 2 Slavonian Grebes. Also of note were the Ferruginous Duck still present, 1 Peregrine, a Cetti's Warbler, 2 Bullfinches, and 40 Twite still in Thornham Harbour.
