A largely grey and damp day, which restricted both bird and visitor activity. The highlight today was an impressive flock of at least fifty Long-tailed Ducks feeding just offshore, present for most of the day. A Merlin appeared briefly mid morning crossing low past the Obs and heading off west over the seawall. A ringed male Stonechat was also present along the East Bank path.
