A blustery day but with some warm sunny spells, the sea was quiet with 10 Red-breasted Mergansers and a Great Crested Grebe the only notable birds, however a stunning male Hen Harrier flew in over the dunes and headed south early afternoon. A Rock Pipit flew over calling and the visiting band of 7 Stonechats were busy on the east bank all day.
