ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Vegetation Management Along Thornham Bank

Please be aware that the Environment Agency will be carrying out herbicide trials along the sea wall between Holme and Thornham between 6th April and 4th May. The footpath will remain open but dogs will need to be kept on leads. This work is necessary to control plant species which are damaging the bank and risking the protection provided by the wall in the event of flooding. Please take care when in the area of works; signs will be in place on site.

Your co-operation is much appreciated.
