ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Saturday 10th June 2017

A Red Kite drifted over Drove Orchards mid morning and 2 Spoonbills flew west past the NWT centre. On the sea 4 Eiders, 8 Common Scoters, a Fulmar, a Great Crested Grebe, 6 Little Terns, 31 Sandwich Terns, and 13 Common Terns were counted.

Moths included a Privet and an Elephant Hawk, another Red-necked Footman, and a Lyme Grass.
