ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Our beautiful new windows are in courtesy of Timber Windows Norfolk. A huge thankyou to everyone who has helped us to fund the replacement of the Obs windows, we hope you'll like the new view! More on this to follow...

Highlights today were a Spoonbill on the marsh and on the sea a Fulmar, 10 Gannets, and 7 Black Terns reported passing west. A Cuckoo was around the east bank.

Moths included 2 Red-necked Footmen, a Kent Black Arches and a female Ghost Moth.
