Waders were the highlight today with a total of 16 Whimbrel over west, 17 Black-tailed Godwits over lavender marsh and a Greenshank along the Broadwater calling mid afternoon. A Spoonbill was of note from the Car Park Hide and 4 Barnacle Geese of unknown origin were also seen on the Broadwater. Two Cuckoos were on the NWT reserve and a juvenile Lesser Whitethroat was among 16 trapped and ringed at the Observatory
Moth highlights were a Plain Golden Y and a True Lover's Knot caught today.
