A total of 98 species were recorded including Privet, Pine, Eyed and Poplar Hawk Moth, Peppered Moth, Buff-tip, Oak Eggar, Pretty Chalk Carpet, Silky Wainscot, Rosy Footman, Kent Black Arches, Fern, Archer's and White-lined Darts, Swallowtail, Ruby Tiger, Sand Dart, and Small Emerald.

Birds included a Gannet over the sea wall, 4 Barnacle Geese on the Broadwater, a Great White Egret, Spoonbill, 2 Grasshopper Warblers, a single Black-tailed Godwit and an Eider on the sea. A Yellow Wagtail flew over calling and at least 6 Whimbrel were passing over. A Red-backed Shrike was in the dunes on the NWT reserve during the afternoon.
