ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Tuesday 17th March 2020

The Garganey were again present on the NWT reserve and at least one Bearded Tit was along the Broadwater near the observatory. There was clearly an arrival of Chiffchaffs with at least six sheltering in the dunes and pines behind the rear of the obs. A Peacock Butterfly was also recorded.
