A foggy day with the south side of the Broadwater often obscured! Swifts and House Martins continued to hawk insects over the pines and an adult Med Gull flew low over the dunes mid afternoon. Five Curlew and a Bar-tailed Godwit drifted over the marshes heading seaward.
In the moth traps a Fern, 4 Cinnabars, 2 Bordered Whites, a Lesser Yellow Underwing, a Silver Y, 2 Heart & Darts, a Common Swift, Uncertain, an Elephant Hawk Moth, Mottled Rustic and Large Yellow Underwing were caught.
