Another 37 Pink-feet came in off the sea today and a Hobby flew over the pines. Around the marshes 80 Wigeon, a Great White Egret, 8 Whimbrel, and 30 Black-tailed Godwits were counted. At least 80 House Martins and 15 Swallows were feeding over the marshes and 2 Cetti's Warblers, 4 Blackcaps and a Lesser Whitethroat were also noted.
In the moth traps 3 Dingy Footmen, 7 Flounced Rustics, 2 Brimstones, 5 White-line Darts, 11 Square-spot Rustics, 20 Large Yellow Underwings, 4 Lesser Yellow Underwings, 6 Archer's Darts, a Willow Beauty, a Rusty-dot Pearl, Ruby Tiger, Blood Vein, 2 Yellow Belles, 3 Silver Ys, a White Point, 3 Vine's Rustics, a Setaceous Hebrew Character, Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing, 2 Turnips and a Pale Mottled Willow were caught.
