After several disappointing sea watches over the last few weeks it was refreshing to record a drake Long-tailed Duck, a Great Northern Diver, two Goldeneye and two Velvet Scoters during the morning's session. Another Goldeneye was noted flying along the Broadwater, two Red Kites were over the Grazing Marsh and three Woodcock were seen during the day. A Ringtail Hen Harrier and a Spotted Redshank were also at Thornham Harbour.
