ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Tuesday 30th March 2021

A gorgeous spring day here at the coast with the appearance of a White-tailed Eagle accompanied by its entourage of Buzzards and Kites over the Grazing Marsh, very much the highlight of the day. Other birds noted during the day included several Siskin and Brambling plus single Blackcap, Redpoll, Swallow and Sand Martin.

The moth traps held 3 Hebrew Characters, 3 Small Quakers and a Red Chestnut.
