A cold grey day, with a reflective number of migrants in and around the reserve recording area. A single Wheatear was on the East Bank, with it or another seen later in the day on the NWT reserve. A single male Crossbill was in the pines, along with the flock of around 15 Brambling and at least four Siskin. A Little Ringed Plover and Greenshank were on Thornham Pools.
