Another relentlessly blustery day, on the sea highlights
were an Eider, 19 Common and 2 Velvet Scoter, 10 Red-throated Divers, a Great
Northern Diver, 2 Gannets, 5 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Razorbills and 2
Guillemots. A Bearded Tit was around the Broadwater and a Grey Wagtail, Rock
Pipit, 6 Bramblings, 4 Redpoll sp and 8 Siskins were noted.
Moths included a Silver Y, Black Rustic, 2 Large Wainscots, Shore
Wainscot, 2 Beaded Chestnuts and a Large Yellow Underwing. A few Common Darters
were still on the wing and a Painted Lady was also seen.
