ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Friday 10th December 2021

Another good day's seawatching included a superb count of 17 Great Northern Divers, 2 Black-throated Divers, 3 Velvet Scoter, a Shag, a Red-necked Grebe, 3 Great Skuas, 3 Little Auks and 7 Little Gulls. About the reserve a pair of Stonechats, a Cetti's Warbler and a Great Spotted Woodpecker were of interest.
