ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Tuesday 14th December 2021

On the sea today 8 Eider, 2 Velvet Scoters, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, 6 Red-throated Divers, a Great Northern Diver and 2 Little Gulls were the highlights. Also of interest today were 2 Red Kites, 544 Golden Plover, a Merlin, 2 Water Rails, single Fieldfare and 2 Redwings. A Rock Pipit flew over near the payhut.
