REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Monday 3rd January 2022

A blustery day with clear skies, on the sea 3 Eider, a Great Northern Diver, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers and 5 Great Crested Grebes were recorded, with a Great White Egret again seen and Golden Plover numbers reaching 2,000.
