On the sea today 2 Eiders, 17 Common Scoter, a Red-throated Diver, 2 Fulmars and 3 Pom Skuas were recorded. Two Shorelark were seen off the Golf Course and a Firecrest was heard near the west entrance mid morning. Other birds of note were 150 Golden Plover, 500 Lapwings, 4 Snipe, a Chiffchaff, 5 Fieldfares, 6 Redwings, 4 Stonechats and a Rock Pipit.
