ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Tuesday 8th November 2022

An early Seawatch produced a Slavonian Grebe just offshore. The Cattle Egret was again around the Broadwater and at least two bearded Tits remained along the Broadwater edge. A large immature, presumably female, Peregrine was also seen on several occasions over the grazing marsh.
