ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Thursday 1st December 2022

On the sea today 16 Eider, 3 Long-tailed Ducks, 13 Common Scoter, Velvet Scoter, 14 Red-breasted Mergansers, 6 Red-throated Divers and 12 Great Crested Grebes were recorded, with a female Goosander along the Broadwater. An unringed Firecrest, 2 Bearded Tits, a late Swallow and a Blackcap were the other highlights.
