A brief sea watch early morning produced 10 Eider, 2 Red-throated Diver and 2 Fulmar. General observations along the beach and sea produced single Velvet Scoter, Purple Sandpiper and Kittiwake. Several Snipe were again flushed during the day along with 3 Woodcock, and a Merlin was watched chasing birds over the Grazing Marsh.
