On the sea today 50+ Eider, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Fulmars and a Great Crested Grebe were seen, with 2 Water Rails heard from the reeds, 293 Golden Plover, 2 Black-tailed Godwits and a Greenshank were also noted, with a Peregrine low over the pines mid morning, 3 Shorelark off the Golf Course, and 2 Firecrests still in the pines.
