On the sea today 45 Eider, 1000+ Common Scoter, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, a Red-throated Diver, Fulmar and 3 Great Crested Grebes were recorded, while on the grazing marshes 310 Golden Plover and 300+ Lapwings were counted. A Firecrest was near the Observatory mid afternoon and a Grey Wagtail flew over east.
