A brief sea watch early morning was disappointing, with a female Goldeneye, 21 Eider and 11 Great -crested Grebe the best on offer. Some signs of migration though, with both Siskin and Redpoll over flying the Observatory. Four Black-tailed Godwit and a Snipe were viewable on the Broadwater from the Car park hide and both Cetti's Warbler and Water Rail were heard nearby.
