Holme Bird Observatory Wednesday 15th March 2023

A Woodcock in flight mid morning over the Obs building heading out onto the grazing marsh was a surprise. On the sea there were ten Eider and five Red-breasted Merganser and at least nine Stonechat were on the East Bank of the reserve. A Grey Wagtail flew over heading West and at least one Bearded Tit was calling from the Broadwater edge.
