Two Firecrests were again seen in the pines and 29 Black-tailed Godwits were on the marsh, with 2 Barn Owls hunting early morning and another visible migration of continental Robins taking place with 15 ringed during the day. Also of interest were a Brambling, 2 Siskins and 6 Redpolls, with an adult male Mealy Redpoll also trapped and ringed.
Another 6 Hebrew Characters were in the moth traps, 14 Smooth Newts were in the pond, and 3 Brimstones, a Comma and a Peacock were on the wing in the afternoon.
