Great Knot in amongst the flock of Knot - Holme Dunes NWT, June 2016

A Hobby mobbed a female Marsh Harrier over the grazing marshes, and other species of note included a Turtle Dove near the NWT payhut and a Lesser Whitethroat singing on the Observatory reserve.

In the moth traps, 53 species included Privet, Pine, Poplar and Small Elephant Hawks, a Beautiful Hook-tip, Pinion-streaked Snout and a major hatching of Common Swifts.
