The Short-eared Owl was seen hunting south of the Broadwater and a Barn Owl was also of interest. A Cuckoo was also singing. A misty and damp start produced a good catch of moths, with 46 species including 3 Breckland Plumes, 2 Eyed Hawk Moths, 2 Light Emeralds, a Shaded Pug and a Rosy Wave. Butterflies included a Painted Lady and at least 3 Common Blues.
