Saturday 18th June 2016

Another poor day with north winds and patchy showers. On the sea 9 Gannets, 6 Little Terns, 16 Sandwich Terns and a Common Tern flew past, and a Lesser Whitethroat was singing in the afternoon.
In the moth traps another movement of Diamond-back moths was evident with 350 counted and many more that got away. A Pine Hawk, Iron Prominent and Shoulder-stripe Wainscot were also of note.
