The Great Knot was again seen at Gore Point in the morning flying off at about 8.20am. Otherwise it was a fairly quiet day. Seawatching produced 200 Common Scoters, 4 Fulmars, a Little Tern and 100 Sandwich Terns passing offshore.

In the moth traps a good catch of 58 species included Willow and Mottled Beauty, Shoulder-striped Wainscot, Shore Wainscot, Campion, Common Emerald, a female Ghost Swift, and a Privet Hawk Moth.

Limited highlights from Walsey included a Red Kite towards Cley village and a flock of hirundines which descended as the clouds rolled in late afternoon, including 8 House Martins and around 30 Swallows.
