ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE
REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

A quiet day at the Obs with highlights including a single Spoonbill, a flock of 8 Long-tailed Tits, 5 Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, a Grasshopper Warbler and at sea an Arctic Skua and 800 Common Scoters all recorded during the day. There was also a small movement of Sand Martins, Swallows and Swifts all passing westwards.
