Another beautiful sunny, but breezy day. Seawatching produced 400 Common Scoters, 6 Gannets, 52 Sandwich Terns, 4 Common Terns, 4 Little Terns, 5 Grey Plovers and 6 Bar-tailed Godwits. Elsewhere birds of interest included a Turtle Dove, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Willow Warbler, and 4 Black-tailed Godwits.
Windy overnight conditions did limit the moth catch but a Garden Tiger, an Antler, 2 Archers Darts and a Southern Wainscot were among those in the trap today.
