A quieter day but with plenty of interest, the highlights were 2 Yellow-browed Warblers trapped and ringed at 10.20, a seawatch produced a Red-throated Diver, a Fulmar, 4 Gannets, and 12 Sandwich Terns. Around the reserve 3+ Water Rails were calling, 350+ Golden Plover were up over Thornham Harbour, a Common Sandpiper and a Spotted Redshank were around the Broadwater, a Kingfisher was also seen near the car park hide, and 5 Chiffchaffs, 10 Blackcaps, 4 Reed Warblers, 3 Song Thrushes, 1 Redwing, 2 Stonechats, a Rock Pipit and 7 Reed Buntings were also of interest.
