A dull and largely wet day seawatching produced a Great Crested Grebe, 2 Fulmars, 9 Gannets, 17 Common Scoters, one Arctic and one Great Skua, 206 Sandwich Terns, and 125 Common Terns. Around the marshes 4 Black-tailed Godwits, 220 Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, a Green Sandpiper, 2 Greenshank, a Spotted Redshank, and 4 Snipe.
In the moth traps Silver Y, Frosted Orange, Flounced Rustic, Archer's Dart and Flame Shoulder were of note.
A Garganey was on Redwell Marsh in the morning.
