Another breezy day with strong winds from the south; highlights included 33 Pink-footed Geese over the grazing marsh before moving off east. Two Arctic Skuas were seen with a pale phase adult resting on the sea during the morning, 200 Teal and 85 Wigeon were seen around the area and at least a thousand Common Scoters were also on the sea. Migrants included around 80 Swallows, 90 Meadow Pipits (with 3 more ringed), 2 Chiffchaffs, 5 Blackcaps, 1 Common Whitethroat reported and overhead 2 Grey Wagtails and 7 Siskins moving west.
In the moth traps were 15 Lunar Underwings and a Shore Wainscot and butterflies seen included a Painted Lady, Small Heath, Common Blue and Small Coppers.
