Saturday 24th September 2016
A breezy day today with few new migrants, however the Velvet Scoter was again seen offshore together with a Red-throated Diver, 30 Gannets, 3 Arctic Skuas and 25 Sandwich Terns. Two Great White Egrets passed Gore Point at some distance offshore heading west, and on the corner of Thornham sea wall 5 Whinchats, a Stonechat and 3 Wheatears were of note.
