A Water Rail and 2 Tawny Owls were heard from the platform, and wader activity included 20 Whimbrel, 7 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Common Sandpipers, a Green Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Redshank, a Greenshank and 2 Snipe. Flyover Grey and Yellow Wagtails were of note, and a Whinchat and 2 Stonechats were around the Obs reserve.
